Description: Catch us in New York and join our Crafting The Future workshop. We’ve been welcomed into Nicole McLaughlin’s design space with @bestdressed for an #upcycling workshop. Watch as our friends transform a #vintage Tommy jacket into a unique pair of shorts. We’ll be including a step-by-step guide so you can repeat this yourself! Upcycling Steps: Step 1 - Thrift/Source a vintage jacket Step 2 - Disassemble garment using Xacto knife (or seam ripper) Step 3 - Patchwork your shorts design and pin in place Step 4 - Chalk up and cut out pattern (you can use the pattern from an old pair of shorts or download a free pattern online).
